Magic happened back in August of 2011. Two nervous travelers, one from Manchester, UK; the other from Toronto, Canada, began their journey to Geneva, Switzerland. Wary of what the future would bring them, they both signed up for an online forum, Glocals. Little did they know that they would soon be meeting their future wing-woman. Fast forward to 2014: Lucicorn is still working in Geneva, and Donna has returned to Canada. But things are about to change: Lucicorn is becoming an Americorn and moving to Boston! Once separated by the ocean, the duo will be reunited in February to take over North America. Lucky for you, they plan on documenting everything on this blog.

Thus dubbed for her infinite love of unicorns, Lucy is a vivacious British nanny. She has traveled the world caring for some of the world's most wealthy families, and her next destination will be one she's working towards her entire life: America.
Donna
The Donna story is actually quite a long story (one that may get it's own blog post if you're patient). Hint: that isn't her real name...although she does go by Donna on occasion. This seemingly conservative Canuck is an aspiring teacher and world traveler. She's ticked a few items off of her bucket list, but there's still many to go. Where will she end up once she finishes Teacher's College in May 2014? Only time, and job offers, will tell.
What is This Blog About?
Excellent question! When they're together, Lucicorn and Donna tend to bring cities to their knees. They go hard and never stop, therefore there are always tales that follow in their wake. Among healthy eating tips from Lucicorn, and education centered resources from Donna, this blog will detail the adventures the two take. As well, we're always looking for suggestions of places to visit, and we love meeting new people, so leave a comment or two, and maybe one day we'll be in your neck of the woods.
